LIZ K Color Veil BB Cream ~ unblended swatch

BB Cream Swatch  : Roughly blended

Swatch: blended
Photo taken without flash, I tried my best to take as accurate swatches as possible ^-^

Before I start, for reference, I have OILY skin. Just about every areas on my face are, oily. And my skintone is NW15-20.

Comments: (ready? I will 'talk' a LOT)

LIZ K Color Veil (BB Cream) 010 in Silk Ivory is the lightest shade from Color Veil line (and also the lightest BB Cream I've ever had). There are 5 shades available, Silk Ivory, gorgeous beige, Natural Beige, Dark Beige, & Colorless/transparent. Once blended, silk ivory matches my skin tone really well, without giving any white/grayish cast.

I've been using this BB cream for a while. And I tried different ways to make it work better for me because I wanted to LOVE this BB cream SO MUCH~! I wanted to 100% love it because of its coverage, I swear, I've never found a BB cream that gives coverage as good as this. Maybe close to a foundation? Idk cuz I've never bought a foundie for myself. Boo! Usually, I'd need separate concealer to cover-up my severe dark circle, but with this alone, I'm good to go. However, bcuz my skin has been breaking out lately, I still need to use The face shop - face it dual veil concealer to cover red spots and blemishesㅠㅠ. MAGNIFICENT coverage~! Without emphasizing dry areas (such as trouble areas) on my fez. LIZ K Color veil + the face shop face it radiance concealer = Definitely deadly coverage, LOL.

It has a creamy consistency, not too liquidy, and a bit hard to blend (if you're using fingers). However, if you are able to apply and blend it well, it gives a really flawless effect. (I use my fingers to apply it quickly and then blend and buff it out using a kabuki brush.)

I had a different experience based on how I apply it. I'll be HONEST~

x Fingers: really hard to blend, like it keeps staying on the surface of my skins. Coverage will fade away in a couple of hours. Huuu... I think because of the oiliness. And feels a little heavy and cakey on the skin. Worn alone without setting with powder, it makes me look like someone who is spending the morning over an oil flat.

Kabuki Brush: Much much better! It's easier to blend and gives a flawless effect. The brush kind off absorbing the excess oil, leaving only the pigment to be applied on face. It doesn't feel heavy and blotchy anymore, even after I set it up with a little of Mineral pact (from Luview).  I only need to blot only once or twice during the entire day. And it still covering up my blemishes quite well, only a minor fading on troubled areas, but that might be because I didn't set it up with powders.

However, there's this one thing that really bothers me, this products breaks me out a little ;^; and sometimes, it aggravates the existing acne. My skin is at its worst condition lately (not because of the BB cream), cystic acne, sudden small bumps, etc. due to hormonal issues and stress (sickness related problem, you know ~_~) Well :s.... But I'm not giving up, I reckon it's only my skin being sensitive lately. Hmmm... however, because the great coverage and it also gives a lovely dewy finish, I will still continue to use the BB Cream and update~

Oil test on a piece of blotting film (acnes oil control film)
We can see that LIZ K color Veil BB cream has an average excess oil secretion.

The BB Cream itself isn't too oily to start with, much better than BRTC and maybelline BB Cream.
About the packaging, I LOVE it. It's simple, all white, but idk I just love how it feels on my hand. Mwahaha. The tube is soft :)~ It has a subtle fragrance too, not overly strong.

Here, the close up pictures of my face with LIZ K VEIL COLOR BB Cream. NOT-EDITED, 100% pure from camera. I only cropped the pic, added a watermark and that's all.

I'm in a midst of applying my make-up and this photo was taken halfway up, haven't finished doing my lower lashline, brows, etc etc, LOL

See the troubled spot? Pretty well covered, eh? Exactly. It looks horrifyingly SCARY irl because of the redness, pinkyness, inflammation, rash, etc I kid you not!! I even stopped my skincare routine and stick to lifebuoy clear skin soap as for now힝~....TT^TT but thanks to its great coverage that my fez looks a bit flawless on pics (taken afar) LOL. Love ♥ the coverage and dewy finish!

Here's how it looks on my face, after 7-8 hours. (with flash). Photo taken by my bestie, Ester :3

What I like:
♥ A little goes a long way~
♥ Pretty dewy finish
♥ GREAT COVERAGE!!!
♥ Looks good in photos
♥ Simple packaging and soft tube
♥ Subtle fragrance
♥ SPF 50, PA +++
♥ Won't accentuate dry areas (won't sit on fine lines)
♥ Whitening (arbutin)
♥  Wide range of shades

What I don't like:
- As for me, I need to use a brush (stippling/kabuki) to achieve good result and for easy blend
- Hard to blend esp. for first timer (unless you're using a brush)
- Breaks me out... ㅠㅠ힝
- Can't think of anything else~

Coverage: photo rat5.png
Oil Control: photo rat3.png
Lasting Power: photo rat4.png  (but only 2.5 when applied using fingers)
Overall: photo rat3x.png

Actually, I'd give 5 out of 5 if it doesn't breaks me out because I really really like the coverage it gives, I also love the formula, and how it gives a pretty dewy finish to my face.

Review: ETUDE HOUSE Dolly Eye Liner Sticker

$
0
0
As you might have seen on my previous post, I was wearing this Etude House Dolly Eyeliner Sticker and I've been getting quite a number of request from girlies on forum to review this fake eyeliner.  Btw, I got this from Eliz Etude House a few weeks ago.

Etude House Dolly Eye Liner Sticker is quick and easy eye line sticker that creates dramatic dolly eyes!
Color: Black
1 Sheet (2 pairs) + glue
Price: approx USD $6.00

How to use:
1. Clean eye and eyelash area
2. Place the eyeliner sticker on the curve of the eyelid, pressing lightly to ensure perfect adhesion.
3. For optimal hold, apply the glue to the back of the eyeliner sticker. After glue slightly dries up, gently press sticker along lash line with pinset until secure.

Etude House Eyeliner Sticker Glue *___*

Glue included!!! And stupid me ~ I just found this free mini glue today ^-^;; this mini glue was encased on the bottom part. I didn't know that this thing is even included. LOL.
Actually, the back part of the sticker (well, since it's a sticker) is of course, has an adhesive surface. But you'll definitely need this glue to fix some issues or when you just simply want an optimal hold. See:

The tip part of the eyeliner sticker on my inner eyes tends to detach from my eyelids. I guess it's because the areas are oilier? o: idk. I just fixed it anyway with my eyelid glue and they look good again. I opted to look more natural on the first day I used this eyeliner sticker, so I skipped the eyeshadow and just lined my tearline with eyeglow liner and dolly wink pencil eyeliner on the outer corner. I didn't took a close-up pic because I was in a rush > . < (a bestie picked me up for awesome Saturday hangout!~~~♥)

And today, I tried a smokey look. And I have to say, this is my FIRST TIME blending experience. I swear~! so don't KILL me bcuz I'm still a newb >o<~~~. I never really use an eyeshadow (you might notice). Even if I did, I've always only had one colored subtle swipe on my eyelids, either light brown or pinkish. Never really do the blending things. Forgyff if this looks more like a disaster to you TT^TT

What I used:
Jealousness ultra shimmering sparkling eyeshadow duo in snowy black
LUVIEW tripled baked mascara in lovely gold
Etude House eyeliner sticker (the thin one)
And that's all~ No mascara, no concealer, no primer, just eyeshadow and the sticker! LOL. I forgot to put on eye-primer to make the eyeshadow looks more pigmented swatched, but meh... maybe later.

Velvety texture

Other Comments:
Well, although eyeliner sticker has been out there for quite a long time, I wasn't previously aware of its existence until Etude House launched their Dolly Eye Liner Sticker, whack~!  One day I was browsing over Etude House fanpage, I found THIS IMAGE, and I just  had to share it~ because "I think I like it!"

My first thought: "No, it won't suit me!" I think, bcuz my eyes are quite small ;^; and I've never ever tried winged liner style before. So I was super duper hesitate. Maaan I've always been like this every now and then, esp. at times when I just about to try something new. Booo~

The first day I wore it, I met my friend, and they like, "WOW your eyes!" I asked my bestie if I look weird, but she said it looks good. Phewwww~ LOL... I received a few other compliments from girles on forum too~ thxies~

Okay, to the review~! the fabric of the eyeliner is thick and feels so velvety smooth. It's so easy to put on (I didn't use any pincet) and easy to remove. Upon wearing, it may feel a tad bit heavy, but well... I'm not gonna complain on that one :D I only used the glue on the inner tip, and it sits well perfectly in a whole day!
The shape, matched PERFECTLY with my eyes, I didn't even need to cut a one milimeter of it!!! Yay~~♥ I'm not sure if they will match EVERY shape of eyes, but I think the shape might work for the majority of people.

I need the eyeshadow to balance out the overall look of my eyes, so I decided to go all smokey today, taking bunch of eye pictures which I'll use for my next circle lens review and eyeshadow review (from Jealousness, Taiwanese brand^-^)

Well, result is a dramatic and bold looking eyes, kind of heavy, and occassionally wearable (you won't go all dramatic everyday, ryte?). I love LOVE the concept! Imagine a fab looking eyes minus the panda eyes and smuding on the end of the day!? Now that's EPIC! ^-^ I wish it comes in a thinner version since I prefer a more natural look :3

What I LOVE:
♥ Easy to apply
♥ Reuseable
♥ Stay all day without smudging, no panda-eyes, no worries! as of course :)
♥ Glue included

Not so loves:
- The inner tips tends to detach from my eyelids every few hours, but it can be fixed easily.
- Not so good for everyday look.

I Rate This: photo rat4x.png
Reuseable? Yes, several times. Be sure to take it off slowly and carefuly.

And now, a vanity space, hehehe~

And one crappy cellphone selca as a bonus!

Finally!!! Me with rather natural smile~! c; Look better in blurry 1mega pixel camera. LOL

I insisted to go all natural on the day the pic was taken, so I skipped the eyeshadow. Meh... By the waaay, because of Nesia, my little possum from a childhood time (hoho~) I just started a new addiction to eyeshadow!!! I've been eyeing uljjang/ulzzang Do Hwe Ji and Yeon Ji Hee make-up style, they have a different style though, I like Ji Hee's full blown dramatic eyes make-up! So now, you'll find me sitting in front of my PC, browsing youtube and learning how to blend eyeshadow, properly!

I think that's all for now! Sorry for the long post xD~~ Idk if you prefer a long post anyway, though~! Thanks for reading and BAIII~ *kiss on the cheek for my darling girlies~

Review: Jealousness Eyeshadow & Liquid Eyeliner Pen

Hello everyone~ :3 As promised, for the next several posts, I will try my best to catch up with my to-review list. So today, I'll be reviewing two products from Jealousness, a relatively new cosmetic brand from Taiwan. I received  Jealousness Ultra Shimmering Sparkling Eye Shadow Duo and Jealousness Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen from EYECANDYS for review purpose. So yes, 'an honest' sponsored review.

Okay, so first, Jealousness Ultra Shimmering Sparkling Eye Shadow Duo in Showy Black! :3

Jealousness eyeshadow duo cute packaging ~ ♥

Jealousness Shimmering Sparkling Eye Shadow Duo - SHOWY BLACK
Close up look of Jealousness Ultra Shimmering Sparkling Eye Shadow Duo in Showy Black.

Product Description:
Jealousness Ultra Shimmering Eyeshadow Duo comes with 2 complementary shades. The satiny, lightweight texture applies like a dream, keeping the eye area moist and lustrous all day.  Use the two shades to highlight and contour and give your eyelids a glamorous 3D effect.
Check Eyecandys for more information about the product.
Price: $ 14.89

Swatches of Jealousness eyeshadow duo in showy black:
the lighter shade looks more pigmented swatched

Swatches without using primer

My Comments:
The name mention it all~! these are really shimmering, sparkling, and hella glittering! It doesn't show much in the picture but the product is actually a lot more glittering irl. The shade of my choice, showy black, is perfect to create a sparkling smokey look. The color glides on smoothly, has a powdery texture, and they're buildable, if you're not into smokey look, you can go all natural and kick it up a notch with the showy black by using it to define your waterline. However, the darker color on the pan isn't really pigmented, but the lighter shade on the left (the gray/silverish shade) is giving a lot more coverage and as a better color pay off since it's much more pigmented. Overall, this is a nice eyeshadow, I like it, and I hope there's a baked type of this eyeshadow available on the market~ :3

The packaging: I love the heart shaped hole on the cardboard packaging, so cute! But there's nothing special about the plastic container. Just a mainstream round container with two shade of color on a pan. So yeah ^-^

Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen

Jealousness Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen

Brush

Price: $15.90
Taiwanese beauty bloggers are all raving about the new Jealousness Waterproof Eyeliner Pen!  With its soft, flexible brush, this product makes drawing precise, clean lines a breeze!  Deep, rich pigment dries in only seconds and lasts all day without smudging thanks to the water-resistant polymer coat formula.  Ideal for drawing cat eyes or winged eyeliner.

Swatches and test!

Smudgeproofness test. It only smudges a little even after I harshly rub it off

 Waterproofness test

My Comments:
Well, this would be the second pen type liquid liner that I've ever had. It's always nice to have one or more liquid liners in our stash, cuz I think pen eyeliner is a perfect product for a quick touch up purpose, thanks to its handy and travel friendly packaging~ :3

This has a good pigmentation, not the best, but good enough, and has a watery consistency. Sometimes I have to go over a few lines to get a right deep black shade. The synthetic brush is soft yet firm enough, you can control the thickness of the line easily. First timer friendly imo.

The Smudgeproofness is AWESOME! (swatched on hand), it won't budge, won't flakes, no smearing, and hardly any fading even if I rub it hastily! On the other hand, I don't think that the waterproofness is that great, it will fade if I rub it off with water D:  it just won't stay long on my oily lids, and the color would transfer to the bottom area of my eyes, hello panda! ;^;
However, I saw other review about this product, and all of them said, "it has a good staying power". But sadly I don't think that way. I won't blame the product, I know it's just me and my SUPER oily eyelids TT^TT Even MAC fluidline won't stay too long on my eyes lately, LOL. And I still find gel/cream liners more versatile and easier to work with, easier to blend and feather out. And perfect for doing the tightline.

So I think this would be great for those without oil fest on their lids! lol~ :3

So yeah, I NEED to know, are there any product, that is somehow able to stop the OIL FEST on my lids? I've only had ONE eye primer as for now, and I know I should buy a better one >.<

Thanks for reading and I'll see you on my next post (Review of GEO Big Grang Grang)~

Review: GEO Big Grang Grang Choco WHC-246

Hello ladies, it's me again! Ehehe... So tonight (well actually, it's morning already, like 1.30am here), I'll be doing a monthly lens review sponsored by TOMATO online shop. I was SUPER happy when I know that I got the GEO Big Grang Grang WHC 246 cuz I've been dying to try it for quite a while.

GEO Big Grang Grang WHC 246

original GEO lenses with authentification code

GEO Big Grang Grang WHC 246 circle lens ~ BEFORE AFTER

GEO Big Grang Grang WHC 246 ~ taken on natural daylight/window lighting

Color & Design: photo rat5.png
Honestly... It's GORGEOUS. The color/design looks super natural, blends in nicely with my eyes. Being worn, the outer rim looks much darker, close to black, and can you notice how beautiful and natural the gradation is? I'm totally in LOVE with this kind of lenses! I LOVE the color, the DESIGN! It's totally my favorite! The pattern is so subtle, without giving too much crazy black/brown orb effect. And this one is giving enough normal and natural 3D effect, unlike GEO Mimi cafe cappuccino that tends to look dull and flat. The color and design are perfect for a dolly ulzzang look. Definitely Deadly~!

Enlargement: photo rat5.png
GOLY HUGE! it's freaking humongous! It's like the BIGGEST BIGGEST circle lenses I've ever tried~!!! I kid you not! without the eye-make up I'll look so scary, like 100% weird creature from another galaxy O___O LMAO, I seriously think the size is somewhat over 15mm effect, like perhaps 16 or 16.5mm. That might be just me, bcuz I have a small pair of eyes ^-^

Comfort: photo rat5.png
in terms of comforness, it kicked out Dueba from the first position in my heart. I wore it for a looong full day (more than 8 hours), without even a single eye drops, and it doesn't even drying. I guess it's because this lens is really really thin. No irritation, no blurry vision, etc. It's awesome!

Overall: photo rat4x.png
I definitely LOVE everything, except for its enlargement that is being a little bit over the top. Also, I had a hard time getting it into my eyes (due to its super thin membrane). x___x sucks, I was just about to give 5 out of 5, but yeaah...

Other Comments:
This lens is freaking thin, like a tenuous extra ultra frail membrane, and I had a HARD time wearing it. LOL. My eyes are small, and the lens is super HUGE! It keeps sticking on my finger and it's REALLY hard to put on, like it's refusing to be worn. MEH! I've never ever had any experience as crazy as this. HAHAHA, Holy Banana, it makes me feel like I'm a first timer!

I'm dead boring! *_* But now, I have fully recovered (hopefully!) and I think I can get back on the track :) So wish me luck!

Before I go, I'll leave you with a collage pictures of things I received in the mail this morning~

_______

By the way...
I'm soooo happy to read all your constructive comments on my post HERE. Maaan, you've been a BIG help. I do really really appreciate every each of the comment and I enjoy reading it!

The most requested post is: Make-up tutorial/inspi (ulljang style). As you might already now, I'm a selft taught... well, in terms of make-up artistry! I do like make-up artistry a lot but I haven't had a proper chance to really enroll myself to a Make-up School, so maybe later, ahahaha... So yeah, I wouldn't really make an awesome tutorial or whatsoever. You know, I'm not an expert, but I will try my best, I promise ^-^

Thanks for mentioning things that you like and what you dislike from my blog. I've been getting a number of request to enlarge the font (set to 11px trebuchet atm) and I have to tell you this, I have a BIIIG addiction to smoothed-clear type 11px trebuchet ms on 1024x768 screen O______O. It's a LOVE!♥ been thinking to switch it to Verdana, or Pt sans, but well... TT^TT I need time to revamp.

And then, got a number of req. to post about HAUL too. So yeah, HAUL! There's one simple reason why I rarely write and share about it (maybe like one or two post in a year? LOL ^^;;) That's simply bcuz I'm being a slacker! LOL~!*slap* Just kiddin', don't hit me. The true reason: I rarely buy make-up stuff (could you believe me?). Often times, I received one or several items from certain company, but that's just it. You know me (friends irl) I rarely wear make-up on my daily basis. Nyah Nyah... But things will changed, now as I have a new addiction in make-up artistry, I hope I can get a decent job and spend some of my earned coins to buy high end make-up. I've been eyeing Make-up forever as for now ^-^ So yeah...

Nah, about cosplay. I'm no longer a cosplayer, but I do LOVE Lolita style! esp. gosurori and classic lolita. So I will make a post about it just sometimes. And game? I only play DotA as for now ^-^
_______

Dang, it's 03.02am now, and I haven't slept for 2 days! Anyhoo, I NEED to write this post, NOW, because I want to be more dedicated to my readers! Ehehe, without you my blog is nothing.

So yeaaaah, that's all for the rambling, I won't bore you anymore with my random rambling, LOL.
kk~ I'll be back with MORE GIVEAWAY (a cosmetic+circle lens giveaway) soon! See you dearies and good nyt! I'll leave you with a sweet cotton candy to make your day~ BAI

Just made a blog template for a dear fellow blogger, and a friend, Joveeta Lee. She asked for something simple, with a little bit of vitage touch. So here's the original design, I tried to keep it as simple as possible, for a clean look~ ♥ click on the picture to enlarge.

And some of the vintagey buttons I made:

Anyhoo, this template is customize-able. This way, you can re-model a bit of your layout (like fonts, colors) and readjusting your blog easily via blogspot customization page (dashboard > template > customize). As easy as that!

KKcenterHk Natural Handmade Falsies + Gray Circle Lens + Cats!

$

Hey guys~ today I'm going to review two items, Buty Color Handmade Natural Criss Cross Fake Eyelashes and Aimu Medusa Gray circle lens. So yeah~ shall we go? ^^

You know what? I've changed my mind about falsies! Hehehe... Actually I've always hated seeing myself wearing falsies, because it looks WEIRD on me irl. They kind off dominating the space on my eyes, esp. humongous falsies like Dolly Wink. I've never. ever. wanted to go outside wearing one!! But yeah, that's an old story ~~ :3 so far I only favorited one type of falsies. This criss cross one, bcuz it looks so good photographed You're very familiar of it I guess bcuz I've always wear it almost on my every circle lens review.

But this one (Buty handmade natural criss cross falsies) is really different, it looks super duper extra ULTRA NATURAL! and it doesn't look weird on my eyes. It stay sits, nicely and intact, emphasizing my eyelash naturally without being too over the top ^-^ I LOVE IT! ~♥♥! Guess who's jumping all over the place like a happy mango!

The packaging

10 pairs of natural fake eyelashes :)

One of the most natural false eyelashesm and one of my favorite ♥

Today, I tried them on briefly, and to my surprise, it doesn't look weird on me in real life! I've been looking for this type of eyelashes for long and now I've finally got them~~ Finally eyelashes on the go ^o^ Everything about this falsies is... may I just say, perfect! With the length that match perfectly with my eyes, I don't need to go all the hassle of trimming it off. The band is elastic and it doesn't prick me on the eyes. It feels light too, like I'm wearing nothing. Just so much better than any other eyelashes I've ever tried (even better than Dolly Wink in terms of shape).

What I like the most is its design, the hair strands are carefully arranged one by one, creating a natural effect that looks almost the same like our natural eyelashes. See? The falsies is in a good quality too, and they're reuseable (like four or five times).

Yah, that's my honest opinion about it. You'll see me wearing this falsies often in the future ^-^ so more photos are coming up!

Moving on to the next review, I have a gray circle lens from Geosoftlensroom.

 AIMU MEDUSA GRAY circle lens
Click HERE for more information about AIMU MEDUSA GRAY

My comments:
Honestly, I haven't heard of this brand before, AIMU. And the name, medusa, LOL. Thinking of medusa's stone curse skill and whatnot! Anyhoo, here's what I have to say about the lens:

Color & Design: photo rat4.png
I love how soft the gray is, it's just the right shade of gray, not too obvious, and leaning more towards black, I assume. Blends well with my dark eye color. The pattern has a resemblance to water crystal but being worn, it won't show up that well.

Enlargement: photo rat5.png
Freaking humongous, the same like my previous review of GEO big grang-grang. I think it would be nicer to have it smaller in size, like perhaps 14.5mm.

Comfort: photo rat15.png
It keeps irritating my eyes and blurring my visions ;^; I can't wear it longer than 2 hours, sadly. I'm not too sure, but I think the new lens protein remover I recently bought might also affect it. I ca't say much though, I haven't tried any other lens that has been soaked with nitilens, that's the brand.

Overall: photo rat2x.png
I love the color, the design, and pattern, it doesn't gives off a weird black orb effect and doesn't look dull. But it's too freaking humongous! lmao. So that's the downfall, and also it keeps suffocating my eyes and I don't think I'll wear this one too often.

Sorry for not posting a full face shoot ;^; the sun went down so fast bcuz it's been raining like mad today and you know I hate flash selca >.<.

Review: TOSOWOONG Clean Pore Brush from Wishtrend

$

Have you ever tried any kind of pore brush or facial brush before? If you have pore related problems, like big pores, blackhead, etc... then you might like this product ^-^ TOSOWOONG Clean Pore Brush. Some girls on blogsphere claimed that this little baby is doing its job better than clarisonic. So yeah, onto the review!

This pore brush is super popular in Korea :)
The description is written in Korean.
31 thousand bristles compact, it helps you to remove the dirt of your skin completely. With refined anti-bacterial synthetic bristle, 0.045mm in size, it allows a deeper and more effective cleanse.

And this is the product itself, it looks very similar to pore brush from The Face Shop. When dry, the bristles are so soft, super dense, and it feels so fluffy.

 Wet bristles

TOSOWOONG Clean Pore Brush
Soft and fluffy bristles ♥
Many of them, who have already tried both of Tosowoong and Clarisonic, said that this little guy here is comparable to Clarisonic and even better at doing its job. If you're a fan of clarisonic, you might love this product as well ^-^. It's a good product, considering the price, which is only $ 25.00, quite a bargain.

My comments:
Bristles: the bristles are the softest! I swear I've never found any brush as soft as this before. Thousand times softer than any brush I've tried before. If I can compare it to SIGMA make-up brushes (lol) this Tosowoong is still much much MUCH softer and denser.

Actually, I didn't think that it will do much since the bristles are super soft like this, but I was wrong. I saw a VERY good before-after pic on WISHTREND-TOSOWOONG clean pore brush page, and the result is super amazing. Go and see it yourself ^-^

Thanks to its super fine 0.045mm bristles~

It allows a deep cleanse too, I used it with Hadalabo Tamagohada cleanser and it works like magic, cleaning every bits of make up on my hand (waterproof gel eyeliner, bronzer, eyeshadow, BB cream). Unfortunately, I forgot to take a pic, but here's a very good example:

But, to be honest, it's hard for me to evaluate the effectiveness of this product, because I've never had any problem with blackheads or any other pore related problem, except for one, acne, that's it. (I'm still excruciatingly strunggling to restore my clear skin, nuuuuu ;^;)

So this is my nose after using Tosowoong clean pore brush for a month. Pardon my cracky and dry skin ;^; The before pic was taken just right after I got up this morning, and I took the other one as soon as I finished washing my face with the pore brush.

I wash my face twice per day, and usually, I'd use this brush to deep clean my whole face before I go to sleep.

On the downside, this brush would always takes forever to dry that I just wish I had an automatic hand-dryer at my home, lol. This brush isn't travel friendly, putting it into airtight plastic bag would allow bacteries to grow and I don't think it's a nice idea.

All in all, this is quite a good product. I can't really say about its effectivenes in black-head removal things. But I know this product has done its job pretty well removing sebum and make-up traces.

Care suggestion: I always rinse it with mineral water after each use and put it on a dry and clean plate.

You know me, I'm ampoule lover! and Vitamin C lover! I have a feeling that it will do its job better than my previous Stemcello Vit C ampoule, who knows~! Hehe... I can't wait for this baby to arrive at mail :3

As I've told you. I've been struggling to eliminate all this minor acne on my cheek ;^; I definitely need this, saw a good before after pic on their site too :3

[Ciracle] Eye contour gel
Delivers moisture and elasticity to the eyes!
I NEED to take care of my eye areas! I have SEVERE dark circle, I kid you not. Everytime I do selca I MUST cover it up with a lot of concealer, and I have lots of fine lines too. This one might help~ hopefully. I'm considering buying it.

Waaaa I know I'll definitely LOVE this baby!!! All in one acne treatment product, which can heal your acne and gives enough coverage at the same time :3~~ Wooo I'm really curious! Check on the site, I love the sheer coverage it gives. Something like this would be SUPER good for a low maintenance day, since I'm not wearing make-up on my daily basis.

[JJOYY] PANDA EYE ESSENCE MASK
Dual functionality of Whitening and Wrinkle care!

Obviously, the packaging is really cute! with panda! hor~~~ and I love the name too, Panda Eye Essence Mask♥ How cute!

I've been eyeing MUSTAEV make-up line too~ here's some of my favorite:

The peach looks so cute and soft~

I'm in love with GEL type eyeliner because it's so easy to work with, and they're so versatile :)

The natural finish and lightweight form caught me on the spot, plus it claimed to have a medium buildable coverage. I've been wanting to wear an actual foundie though, not a BB cream.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE the color combos on this palette, I swear!!! It's like love at the first sight, yeah? hahaha It reminds me a lot to DIOR 5 coleurs eyeshadow in 030 incognito and Givenchy eyeshadow palette in Siena Silhouette. You don't know yet, but I've been buying a lot of eyeshadow palette (I'm going to post it soon~~~♥)

Might as well need this foundation pact. I NEED full coverage as for now ;^; redness and acne scars. Nuuuh, I haven't tried anything like this before, but I'm sure that it will give a maximum coverage for me.

__________

That's all for WISTREND and my recent wishlist! ^-^
To sum it up, my TOP THREE FAVORITE are:

Care to share what's your recent wishlist with me? :3 Please leave a comment then, hehe... I will read every comment and reply ASAP. Thank you and I'll see you soon (on my haul post, as promised~)

Review: Maybelline Cheeky Glow & Clear Smooth Blush

$

Hi darlings~ Did everyone have an awesome weekend? I hope you did, bcuz I spent mine by having fun with my BFF and frenz ^-^

Well then, today I'm gonna write a review of Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in wooden rose, and also Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Blush in Freh Apricot which I bought a while back (December 2012 if I recall).

Left: Maybelline cheeky glow, Right: Maybelline clear smooth shine free blush
Cheeky glow in wooden rose, and Maybelline clear smooth in fresh apricot

I accidentally dropped my cheeky glow and broke the cap. lol.

Here's a lot of swatches of the blushers for you~
Taken with AWB setting, under natural daylight.

The skintone is more accurate on this photo, but the swatch of maybelline cheeky glow is not that accurate. It looks kind of chalky, matte, and leaning towards milky pink with a hint of purplush color? which isn't really what it actually looks like =(

Swatches with flash! the swatch looks a bit more natural and more accurate :) so if you're looking for an accurate swatch, please refer to this photo ^

Indoor lighting - the cheeky glow turned out more pinkish here. But the swatch of clear smooh fresh apricot is accurate.

Maybelline Cheeky Glow in Wooden Rose:
It's a peachy light salmon color combined with dessert sand, with subtle and very fine gold shimmer. The color is like a darker version of Stila bronzing powder in pacific coast highway. At first I was a little iffy with this wooden rose shade, as I thik that it is so sheer or light that the color barely shows up. But the Beauty advisor on that Maybelline counter said that it has a good color pay-off, which is true :)

It's not look as chalky irl (the swatches don't do justice!) it may show up well and not chalky on people with fair skin, but I'm afraid it will leave a chalky finish on darker skintone.

What I like about it:
★ Pretty and natural shade without being too over the top
★ Price! It's SUPER cheap, one of the cheapest blusher I've ever bought (USD $ 3.5)
★ Subtle shimmer
★ Packaging design that is not-so-drugstore (but still, I hope they will use a sturdier plastic)
★ Ease of use, without the worry of  blushing too much.
★ It's a cute shade that's perfect for nude make-up~

What I don't like:
- Not as long -lasting. Need to retouch at least once/day.
- You drop it once, the packaging will break. Drop it twice and it's the end~

forgyff my small bumps TT^TT... I just use a very very VERY SMALL amount of the cheeky glow  because I don't like an obvious blush. And you know, I'm the quite satisfied one with the result :) it gives a healthy glow finish without being too over the top, and without the feel of 'too much effort', if you know what I mean~

Next,

Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Blush in Fresh Apricot:
On the pan, it's a dark vermillion reddish orange. It looks beautiful on the swatch, and that's the reason why I bought it on a whim. It's really really pigmented, just a little amount of it could build up a decent color pay-off. It has a fine and subtler shimmer too, not too obvious as the shimmer in cheeky glow though. I love the color, but I need to pay extra attention no to put it too much, else it will look too obvious, which of course I hate.

I'm bewildered by its name, shine-free. Is it reffering to its oil control properties? or its subtle shimmer? Nah I'm not sure about that. It has no oil control properties though (at least for me).

It's too red to my liking and it may sometimes give an unnatural look, which I do not fancy too much. The packaging is too basic and not as cute as cheeky glow, and it looks BORING D: You know~ pretty much the feel of drugstore packaging.

----------

Repurchase? Nope, I won't repurchase both of the blusher (eventhough I LOVE cheeky glow in wooden rose so-damn-much!) I simply want to try other brands :3

Anyhoo~~ talking about the haul post that you've been asking for. One of the package delivery is delayed o: The seller said it will arrive next week, oh gosh I just hope it will arrive sooner! So I can make a post of my first wave of haul *fingercrossed.

See you loves~!

Haul: Sephora, Make-up and Stuff + Samsung Galaxy + Awards

You might have seen these pics if you're a follower on twitter/facebook. It's so rare of me to actually buy a lot of make-up stuff in the same month. I have a new addiction to Western and European make-up brand, not only that, I've been thinking of revamping my traincase and start to build it, slowly but sure!

What I bought: medium sized pink make-up traincase (with sparkle♥), Stila lovely eye talking palette, Stila living the life in laguna, Sephora blockbuster palette, Masami Shouko 10 pcs brush set, Masami Shouko concealer brush and definer brush, Ecotools six piece essential eye set, Dior 5 couleurs eyeshadow in incognito freebies, Christian Dior Crayon eyeliner pencil, Oriflame concealer, and some other stuff~

I really really love Masami Shouko brushes, they're good!!! Ecotools is a great brush too, but MS is still better ^-^ My favorite stuff is Stila eyeshadow, brushes, and stuff from Dior~

Sephora Blockbuster Palette

I'm lucky enough to get a nearly new - preloved Sephora blocbuster palette. Everything is in a great condition and this is also my first big make-up palette, I LOVE it.

   1 large mirror
    4 stands
    96 eyeshadows
    84 lipglosses/lipsticks
    3 blushes
    1 bronzer
    1 mascara
    2 eyeliners (black & brown)
    6 cream eyeliners
    4 applicators

I think I'll do a quick review of this baby, the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadow is really really good. No falls out, and I find myself wearing the nude shade quite often. There's a lot of brown on the palette, which is good :) the color range is very wearable too. For the lipsticks, many people hate them. But I personally love the lip colors, because they're somewhat sheer and not too pigmented, just exactly how I wanted them to be ^-^. The blusher is great! my favorite is the darkest plum shade, it's a beautiful brownish-rosey color. The other two are pink and orange with a lot of gold shimmers. I love the pencil eyeliner too! Especially the brown one :) It's even better than Dollywink pencil eyeliner, I swear ♥
I haven't tried the mascara and the cream liners yet, so do watch out for my thorough review+swatches later on!

DIOR 5 couleurs eyeshadow palette in 030 incognito

I bought two Dior 5 couleurs eyeshadow palette in incognito because I really really love the shades, it's so nude, so natural, and wearable. Anyhoo, these little baby is a mini size, freebies. Just in case you're wondering why there aren't any aplicator included :)

Christian Dior Crayon Pencil Eyeliner in noir

I tried it briefly today and I think I might love this little angel (eventhough I'm not sure it can actually stands my super oily eyelids, lol). However, the color is easily transfered to lids, applies smoothly and the texture is so creamy.

Stila Lovely Eye the Talking Palette

This little love can speaks and tells us the step by step make-up application in Korean language! LOL, so CUTE! I've always loved Stila! My number one favorite brand, ever! I love their make-up product, especially the eyeshadows, because the texture is so buttery, velvety, no crumbling, no falls out. The color combos in Stila lovely eye palette is a lovely color with beautiful pastel finish. Wait for a full review later ^-^

Aside from make-up stuff, I also got this cute loliable flat ribbon shoes from Pink locomote.

I'm going to pair this up with my gosurori maxicimam dress. Hmmm, come to think of it, this shoes would suits a classic style better, err... I think? Anyhow. I'm loving its simple design~

First package of snacks from Korea, Niichan chose all the snacks and sent it to me, gomawo! I ate half of them already, and my favorite is the Hershey chocolate bar and Ganache.

Samsung Galaxy Android Ace 2

Animob pink leather pouch casing for Samsung Galaxy Android and Hello Kitty charm
And finally! Yesterday, I also got myself a smartphone! (I named her ). I'm so late late LATE! but late is better than never, haha! Mine is a white Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. I won't be using it too much, I'll still be online on my beloved PC (for chatting and stuff). My favorite app is instagram and Camera360. I've been testing the camera and the app, pardon the crappy pictures on this post ;^;.

Do anyone of you know any good app for photo editing and such? I'd like to have one with a lot of filters, maybe like vignette.

Oh, I also bought the casing for my android, it's from ANIMOB, I chose this one bcuz it has a wrist strap. I'm a bit of sloppy person and I often drop things, lmao! So this one is perfect, plus, it's pink!♥ Also, I'm lucky enough to get a limited edition of Hello Kitty Pour Lolita - white edition, by novala takemoto. The kitty is supposed to be wearing a sweet lolita dress from Baby The Stars Shine Bright.

Last, versatile blogger award. Thanks to Sie, for the awards :)

So... I'm supposed to write down another facts about me, which might be boring for you all, hahaha... My life is actually quite boring ~.~ So yeah....

Buff'd Cosmetics Mineral Make-up Review

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of post! I've been busy watching drama, lol~ Anyhow, I'm back~! :3
Today, I'll do a quick review of Buff''d Cosmetics collection in sample size which I received month ago while having my favorite cold tea, yum~♥

About Buff'd Cosmetics:
Formulated using only the purest minerals and pigments, oils and waxes, and natural preservatives and fragrances - Buff'd Cosmetics all-natural mineral makeup products are completely free of irritants and toxins that can be harmful to your skin.

What I got: 4 products in jar (mineral foundation, blusher, and two eyeshadows), 5 sample sized product in sachet (illuminating dust, body shimmer, foundation, and eyeshadow)

Buff'd Satin Pearl Eyeshadow in ROLAND and SHY.

Buff'd Original Mineral Foundation in neutral-light and Blush in tricky.

The new item is sealed, so you know you're getting a fresh product~ ^^

The inner compartment is sealed with sticker.

Mieneral Loose Powder Blush

Inside look of the foundation jar.

sample sachet~ foundation, eyeshadow, illuminating dust, and body shimmer ♥

Now it's time for swatches and review ^^

Buff'd Mineral Foundation Swatches.

The swatches above are heavily applied and roughly blended and was taken with flash on, so it looks whiter and paler than how it originally look irl.
The average rating of Buff'd mineral foundation on MakeupAlley is 4.2 out of 5, so overall, it's a pretty good foundation. I've never ever owned an actual foundation before, whether liquid or powder, lol. I'm more of a BB cream girl, but I know that foundation would always provide a better result and better coverage, so why not? I'm going to buy an actual foundie, soon. I MUST! >.<

The Neutral-Fair (sample size): is the palest shade of all, it's even paler than MAC NC15 imo. However, I love to use it on my nose bridge and put a highlighter over to create more definition.
Beige-light: has an obvious yellow tone (match to NC20 in MAC).
Neutral-light: A perfect shade for me, though, when applied heavily it tends to give a whitish cast on face. It has a neutral shade, not too pink nor yellow. (NW/NC20)

Using a large fluffy brush is a must when applying this foundation. If you're able to blend-in nicely, it will give a flawless matte finish. The coverage is buildable but not as good as the liquid one.  This product is not recommended for people with dry-wrinkled skin as they tend to accentuate those areas.

Illuminating dust - FLUTTER and Mineral Body Shimmer - Sun Kissed Swatches

Warm shimmering bronze.
Buff'd Mineral Shimmers are formulated using feather-light shimmering micas, adding a radiant sparkle when lightly brushed anywhere on the body.

The BODY SHIMMER is my favorite of all the product!!! It gives a radiant glow on the skin and makes it looks as catchy as ever! Absolutely perfect for party~ :) On the swatches, the 'glitter' looks obvious, but the size of glitters are smaller irl, not a big chunk of glitter though, I'd prefer to consider it as a 'big' and obvious shimmer instead of glitter, (or perhaps a finely milled glitters? lol).
This can also be used on eyes, to create a glamorous & glittery eye look.

Creamy pink.
Gloriously sheer powders formulated with the lightest iridescent micas that give skin a radiant and luminous glow.

Reminds me to MAC colour powder! It's a perfect mate for buff'd mineral foundation, adding luminous glow and creating dewy finish to fez! Illuminating powder could also be used in place of highlighter, down the bridge of your nose, or on top of your cheekbone to add glow.

Buff'd mineral Blush and eyeshadow swatches

The Satin Pearl Blush in tricky is a peachy pink shade with pearly satin finish. Tbh the shimmer is being too over top for a blusher, we all want a subtle shimmer, no? The color pay-off isn't really good too. The pink/peach tone doesn't really show up well on swatch. The shimmer is really really obvious, makes it suitable for evening make-up only. However, I'd prefer to use it as an illuminating powder instead of blusher, because it works better that way, lol. I really want to try their MATTE blush collection too, read so many good reviews on blogsphere :3

Satin Pearl Eyeshadow - 95 shades available!

Only the finest mineral pigments go into our eye shadows allowing for great wearabilty and stunning colors that will never fade. Buff'd Mineral Eye Shadows can be applied dry for soft color or wet for a more dramatic effect!

Shy: Cool beige with soft silver shimmer
Roland: Shimmering bronzed plum
Cosmic: Dark graphite taupe

I'm loving the eyeshadow! It gives a beautiful SATIN finish~! The color pay-off is good and its soft texture makes it easy to blend. The shade shy is perfect for highlighting and could also be used as a base color because it has a neutral warm beige. Roland is good for defining the crease and coloring the lids, while Cosmic is perfect for creating a dark smoky look and can also be used as an eye-liner (applied wet).

I think Buff'd Cosmetics Mineral Make-up line is really worth to try! If you're curious about the products, you can also buy them in sampler size :)

WELCOS Confume Argan Oil Review + Wishtrend Giveaway!

Hello everyone, it's Saturday and I hope you've been enjoying your weekend~ :3
Today, I'm going to review the much-talked Confume ARGAN oil! I got mine from a beloved online store, Wishtrend

As seeing is believing, I'll start by showing you the close-up HOTD which was taken about an hour ago right after using Confume Argan Oil.

Hope you like the result~ ^^

Before proceeding further, I want to write a little about Argan Oil's origin and its benefits for hair and skin~

What is Argan Oil:
Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree (Argania spinosa L.), endemic to Morocco, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. It is also known in cosmetic use as moroccan oil.

Agan kernels

Argan Oil Benefits for Hair:
  • Argan oil hydrates the hair in a natural way. It stops the curliness and roughness of hair in an efficient way.
  • Argan oil penetrates into the hair pores or shafts and enhances the elasticity of hair. It also proves to be very nourishing for the growth of hair.
  • Argan oil is an antioxidant– known as nature’s answer to botox, it is a Vitamin C and E packed oil perfect for combating free-radicals and works as an anti-aging.
  • Natural antioxidants present in Argan oil strengthen the hair by repairing the damaged cellular membrane of hair.
  • Color treatment of hair causes certain damage to hair, makes them brittle and takes away the smoothness.
  • Rich contents of unsaturated fatty acids like Omega 3 and Omega 9 in Argan oil are a direct source of essential nutritional components for hair pores and roots.
  • Presence of Vitamin E in Argan oil makes it a tremendous agent for hair treatment. Many external and internal agents like heat, over styling and oxidization damage the hair. Vitamin E present in Argan oil is very useful in restoring the natural hair and renewing and repairing the damage caused by destructive agents.
  • Argan oil locks the moisture in and adds to and restores the luster and shine of hair.
Argan oil could also be applied on skin as a moisturizer, it contains Vit C and Vit E that acts as anti-aging and anti-oxidants. It can also soften dry skin/coarse elbow & heel, diminish fine lines, and reduce skins imperfections.

Now I will show you a few pictures of my hair after using Confume Argan Treatment Oil from WELCOS for a week, I have to tell you, I LOVE the result :3

Lustrous and shiny hair ♥ Confume Argan Oil

Confume Argan Oil protects my hair, and making it look shiny and lustrous.

My Comment:
As I've mentioned earlier, I've been using Confume Argan Oil for a week, and I love the result :)
For a reference, I have a very straight hair and I DON'T use heat on my hair (it's super rare for me to use hair dryer or iron tongs/flat iron, like only less than 5x in a year I swear~ I'm just too lazy, lol), and I've only dyed my hair once. By that, it's understandable if I've never had any serious hair problem before. The only thing I don't like about my hair is that they're too straight and looks boring at times D:
Anyhow, on my straight hair, it works like wonder! I love how it gives a shiny and lustrous glow to my hair, and people will often tell me how healthy-looking my hair is ♥

All the hair pics above are unedited, so the lustrous and polished look is real :)
I don't apply it to the roots, I apply the oil generously at the end and sparingly all over the hair. It moisturizes really well and give nourishment to the hair, my hair feels super soft after each application~ love LOVE it!

Here's how it looks upclose, transparent and colorless. On application, the grease helps the liquid to distribute evenly to hair, and once dried, it doesn't leave any greasy feeling at all, which is good! We don't want an oily hair, do we? :)

Oh, other thing that I love is the SMELL! It has a subtle sweet scent, not too overpowering, almost vanilla-ish ♥

How to Fix/Repair Broken Eyeshadow Palette

$

0
Hi all! Today I'll be posting a quick DIY, how to fix broken eyeshadow. I bought three MUA palettes and unfortunately, two of the pan was broken. Last night, I tried to fix it and voilaa, it worked~ ^-^

What you need:
- Spatula, paperclip, mini stick, or anything clean to break up the eyeshadow into a loose powder form.
- Rubbing alcohol.
- Cleaned coin, or anything with round and flat surface on it (Match the size with the pan)
- Kleenex, or clean fabric.

Here's my MUA undressed palette. Shade 1 was previously fixed, the seller said. But when it arrived at mail, I noticed a crack on the surface and it starts to crumble. So I think I need to re-fix it.

 Before

How to fix/repair broken eyeshadow:
1. Crush and break up the eyeshadow evenly
2. Add few drops of alcohol, be sure not too use too much alcohol (a few drops is enough), if it's too watery then you can't press it up later on and it will crack once it dries.
3. Mix it up until the eyeshadow turns into a very thick paste.
4. Put a kleenex over the paste and gently press it with a coin, or anyhing with flat surface. (if you use a coin make sure you wash it first).
5. Remove the kleenex and let it dry for an hour or more.

It looks better, though, it makes me super sad because shade 1 is one of my favorite shade TT^TT and now I only have less than half :(( but it's okay lah.... (self console, lol)

Now, I'll post another tutorial how to repair/fix broken eyeshadow. I'll be using MUA undressed me too palette as a model, this one is badly damaged. *cry*
The step by step is the same, I just want to show you more photos.

Broken mua undress me too palette. The naked shade is totally scattered into pieces and they were all over the palette!

How to fix broken eyeshadow:
1-2.  Collect all the left over pieces of the eyeshadow and put it on a piece of paper, then put it back to its original pan.
3. Crush the eyeshadow with bented clean paperclip.
4. Add a few drops of alcohol, mix it up until it turns into a thick paste, put a kleenex over it and press.
5. Remove the kleenex.
6. Wait and let it dry.

After~! fixed and cleaned eyeshadow palette

left: fixed naked pad. right: original naked eyeshadow pan

The color will turn into its normal/original color once it dries, the photo above was taken before it totally dries up, you can notice the fixed pan is slightly darker.

Unlike the first undressed palette, the naked shade of the second palette was broken into a bigger size, so it was easier for me to collect all the pieces and mess (though some of them was really scattered all over the place and it was a crazy total mess when I first opened the palette). I was a little bit horrified at first.

That's all for now, I hope you will find this tutorial useful~ :3
Thanks for reading and I'll be back soon!
Love always~

Hi guys~~! How've you been? I hope you're all doing well as always ^-^
Today, I'm going to show you guys my newest pair of shoes which I got from Pink Locomote.  My first new pair of shoes in 2013, lol! I rarely buy and wear shoes, pretty much a flip-flop girl irl~

Classic style black shoes ~ with ribbon <3 p="">

Well, errr.... tbh my feet are quite big and not so feminine. I'm not a big fan of shoes, reason being is because I often ride a motorcycle. Wearing a nice looking shoes while motorbiking will only ruin them. *sadface*
But honestly, I do love flat shoes and want to wear them as often as I can, they're so versatile, suits almost every occassion, every style, and the most important thing are... they're super COMFY and user friendly! Flat shoes FTW ♥

 Flat black ribbon shoes~

Another way of tying the ribbon, cute & simple :)

I ordered the shoes bcuz I think it will look great in pair with my gosurori/gothic lolita dress. However, I think they will suit a classic style better, lol (I ordered one more pair of 'real' gothic lolita laced shoes this month).  Kk~ about the design, what can I say? It actually pretty simple, just a basic black flat shoes with a loose ribbon attached. So classic! I've always wanted to have one pair of shoes with a loose ribbon on it so that I can arrange and tie it just the way I like it <3 p="">

Be sure to check on Pink Locomote (0857-3051-6116), an online shop based in Surabaya, Ind. they have a huge shoes collection~ The nicest thing is, you can personalized your shoes, choosing your preferable fabric, etc.
__________

Last but not least, I'd like to thank you guys for being a very very good reader of my blog, by joining a giveaway, commenting, following, etc. I appreciate it a lot and if I could I want to thank each one of you personally! :3
And yeppp... The EYECANDY'S GIVEAWAY has officially ended~ Let me announce the winner now.

CONGRATULATIONS ~~~ Поздравляю

Review: OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum

Ladies, today I will be reviewing one skincare product that has become a HOLY GRAIL of mine~ Hohooo... You might already know that I'm absolutely obsessed with Vit C ampoule! I LOVE how vit C gives a bright and radiant complexion to skin, as well as reducing any pigmentation and discoloration. (Read my BRTC Vitalizer C ampoule? You'll know how much I've hooked with Vit C!)

So I've recently revamped my skincare routine (well, it's not that recently :3), It has become much more simpler now, unlike in the past when I could spend up to 30minutes doing my skincare routine. Anyway, I got this little baby from WISHTREND, my favorite Korean beauty online store ♥

OST 오리지날 퓨어 비타민 C20세럼

+ Includes pure Vitamin-C 20%
+ Whitening /Recovering trouble scars
+ Removing blackheads
+ Ranked the best selling item in Singapore No.1 commerce. (2012)

Brand : OST
Volume : 30ml
All Skin Type
Made in Korea

Packaging of OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum, everything are written in Korean. The outer packaging is sleek and so high class, I like it~

Vit C serum - Photo taken with byul, my cellphone~
First time opening the package, there's a separate pipette in a plastic and the bottle cap was sealed. Rest assured that we're getting a very fresh product! :3

OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum

30ml of Pure Vitamin C serum with a lot of benefits for your skin~♥ Definitely a staple in every skincare regime ^-^ The bottle is made from an amber glass, the good thing about amber glass is, it preserves the true benefit of Vitamin C (note that Vitamin C could loose its benefit and get oxidized very quickly). The colored glass prevents UV rays from entering the bottle.

OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum pippete

The pipette! What can I say? I LOOOVE every ampoule type skincare product! You know already, lol! I love the feeling when I squeeze the the rubber cap to get an ample amount of the product to my hand.

The nicest thing about ampoule type serum is, they're super hygienic (as long as the pipette doesn't come into contact with any surface), just make sure not to touch the pipette to avoid a contamination.

Now, I'm going to show you the result of the APPLE TEST of OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum I did yesterday :)

What I have said about FREE RADICALS & Vitamin C:
In the very simplest of terms, free radicals are various forms of free oxygen molecules that are floating in and out of your skin tissues. Yes, Oxygen is vital for your living tissues but only if the oxygen atoms are attached to red blood cells and that happens in your lungs. You see free oxygen anywhere is highly CORROSIVE.
In case of the apple, the oxygen has “destroyed outer cells” and turned them all brown.
Oxygen is also what causes steel to rust and if it can destroy steel, it surely can destroy your living skin cells.

Vitamin C has lots of benefits for skin. Ask Google and you'll find tons of useful site with complete information about how does Vitamin C benefit skin.
  • Vitamin C to Enhance Radiant Skin
  • Vitamin C is not only necessary for collagen production and maintenance, but it is also a potent antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals in the skin.
  • Reduce discoloration and pigmentation
  • Wound healing (very good if you're acne prone and want to heal acne scars)

one drop of OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum

The Vitamin C serum is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave any sticky or greasy feeling on the surface. Perfecto~  Unlike my old love BRTC Vitalizer C ampoule, I don't need to do 'face palming' to heat up my skin, though, I believe face palming method is very good (read about it tons of times already on Japanese magz), and I still do it occasionally.

My Comments:
I'm not gonna brag! I swear~~I LOVE this red bottle, HOLY GRAIL! Kicked BRTC out of my heart! You've seen the apple test result and you know it's good for skin! Hehe... Anyhoo, This red bottle was a best selling skincare product in Singapore (2012) and won SURE BEAUTY AWARDS in Korea. It was a total HIT!♥

I've been using this serum for a month now, the result is quite significant. Holy smokes, before I start using it, I had a problem with lots of small bumps on my face (I wrote about this on my previous previous post), and almost terrible acne issues which really-really drives me nuts! They Snail cream  from Secrey Key practically didn't work for me, I threw it away and start using this magical red bottle.

Now, the condition of my skin has become sooo much better, no TONS of small bumps anymore! Just a few of them here and there but issokaiii~~~ I still have two or three (or sometimes four!) zits on my cheek. But the scars fade quite quickly, thanks to O.S.T Vit C20 serum! (I'm telling you the truth). I'm NOT getting paid to say this and I tried not to sound like a beauty advisor, HAHA!

Back to the product, it has a stingy citrus-like smell and the liquid is rather thick. Its lightweight liqid spreads easily and absorbed fast, leaving no track of stickiness, greasiness, or whatsoever. However, on the first application, I felt a little bit of tingling sensation on my face upon application. But that's just OK, it indicates that the Vitamin C serum is still working at its best. (remember you'll also experience tingling sensation when you drop citrus/lemon extract to your face).

Overall, I LOVE this product and it's official now, this product is a MUST for me and I feel very pleased with the result. (the result is not a total perfect, but it helps me get a radiant complexion and lessen the small bumps) ^-^
I'll definitely going to buy this superb red bottle once I have finished my first bottle.

Who might like it?
-Korean skincare product lover.
-Those who want a radiant complexion.
-People with acne scars.
-People with uneven skin tone / those with pigmentation
-Suits all type of skin and works good on oily skin (like me)

Review: Rojukiss ENCA AC Control BB Cream

Ladies, I'm back with another review of BB Cream from WISHTREND, ENCA AC Control BB Cream. I'm really glad to be able to try this BB Cream because this baby is specially made for troubled and oily skin. Yippie!

ENCA AC Control BB Cream is a tri-functional cream solving at a time all the agony of whitening, wrinkle care and sun screening which sensitive skin inevitably brings up.

Brand: Rojukiss
Oily, Trouble  skin Type
Volume: 50ml
Made in Korea

Enca Acne Control BB Cream ingredients

Tube type~

Rojukiss ENCA AC Control BB Cream oil test vs CC cream oil test (The Skin Shop)

Swatch: roughly blended.

Swatch: perfectly blended. Under natural light

Enca Acne Control BB Cream, oxidized.

Comments:
Been using this BB Cream for a month and I'm quite happy with my new BB cream~  It's not too pink or too yellow for me, a neutral color leaning slightly towards pink, and the shade would match NW 20 in MAC chart. The BB cream, however, oxidizes pretty fast and turned out to be slightly too dark for my skin. But that's okay since my face is more tan than my hand, so it's kind of blend well naturally with my natural skin tone. It doesn't cast a scary grayish tone and gives off a matte finish. The texture is thick! as you can see on the pic, it's thick so expect a good coverage~! (Medium to heavy coverage I'd say) but don't expect it to be as good as the actual foundation! You'll still need a separate concealer to conceal acne scars and any other imperfections.

What I like the most about this BB cream is its AWESOME OIL CONTROL properties! Maaaaan, it's super duper awesome, even better than my recent buy CC cream-that claimed to be having a good oil control with porous powder, etc (I'll review the CC cream soon~). The oil-test result on oil film is very very VERY good, just as good as luview aqua essence BB Cream. With the other BB creams and foundations that I have tried, I had to blot and touch up on powder every couple of hours, but with ENCA AC control BB cream, though, I have to blot only once or twice during the entire day. Sometimes, when it's not hot and humid, I don't even have to blot at all.

One of the problem I have with it is that it tends to emphasizing dry patches on my face,  Another thing, since it dries pretty quick, I find it a little difficult to blend. It tends to look cakey and flaky if not applied nicely. However, if you are able to apply and blend it well, it gives a really flawless effect. I use my fingers on the day when I want to look more natural or use a foundation brush (my current favorite is Estée Lauder foundation brush!) when I want more coverage.

So yeah, if you have a problem with acne and blemishes, or if you simply have an oily skin and want to try new Korean BB cream, I definitely recommend ENCA AC control BB Cream for you :)

What I love:
★ Specially designed for troubled skin.
★ Doesn't aggravate acne.
★ Contains Zinc oxide and sulfur which are good to deliver blemish-free skin.
★ Contains arbutin (whitening properties).
★ AMAZING OIL CONTROL! I'd give 5 out of 5 for this!!!

Not so loves:
It contains talc (eventhough being an AC control product).  Well... actually talc isn't 'that' bad, but it can clog pores for some people.
★ Only one shade available, and this shade is slightly too dark for me.

Oil control: photo rat5.png

I'm super sorry because I didn't post up a full face photo wearing Enca AC control bb cream. I've been swamped with BAD-DAY BEAUTY probs! (that's what Bobbi Brown said about the occasional bad day when eyes look puffy, skin appears sallow, breakouts seem OVERLY OBVIOUS! BHAHAHAHA... ) you've got me! forgyff~~ I'll update as soon as I can on my future post ^-^

Do your best and I wish you a good luck to all of us :)

Last but still very important, I’d like to write a bit about SPF, why SPF is important for us, and about Marina UV White Extra SPF 15.

Why we need sunscreen?
Sunrays can be healthy, but being exposured too much could cause problems (even a fatal one like skin cancer!) Uv rays damaged our epidermal layer, causing hyperpigmentation, dehydration, and any other permanent damage, including making it looks older than it should be. Living in a tropical country such as Indonesia makes us need to wear a decent sunscreen to protect our skin from UVA and UVB. The importance of using both UVB and UVA protection cannot be emphasized enough.

About SPF:
SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. The number is determined experimentally indoors by exposing human subjects to a light spectrum meant to mimic noontime sun. Some subjects wear sunscreen and others do not. The amount of light that induces redness in sunscreen-protected skin, divided by the amount of light that induces redness in unprotected skin is the SPF. It is mainly a measure of UVB protection and ranges from 1 to 45 or above.

A sunscreen with an SPF of 15 filters 94% of the UVB. Basically, the protection of SPF 15 doesn’t escalate linearly.  For example, SPF 10 protects protects skin 90% from UVB, SPF 15 protects gives as much as 94%, while SPF 30 filters  97% of the UVB, and SPF 45 filters approx 98%, which is not the double amount of SPF 30.

There is currently no uniform measure of UVA absorption. There are broad-spectrum sunscreens that protect against UVA and UVB radiation although it is important to remember that the SPF does not predict UVA protection.

Marina UV White Extra SPF 15
Marina UV White Extra SPF 15 protects our skin from the danger of UVB, as well as hydrate it and making it looks more radiant. It has SPF 15 which is perfect for daily use, it blocked UVB so you don’t need to hide your skin during days and could freely let them exposed without the worry of being sunburned, or having skin problems afterwards.
Not only that, Marina UV White Extra SPF 15 also contains PA+, which means, it protects you from UVA radiation and prevent skin darkening process. It also has Yoghurt Biowhitening complex and Vitamin B3 which rich in nutrition to boost the skin’s glow from inside.

1.    SPF 15 as UVB protection that protect skins from sunrays.
2.    PA+ as UVA protection that helps prevent skin from darkening process.
3.    With rich nutrition of biowhitening complex containing Yogurt and Vitamin B3, Marina UV white extra SPF15 helps skin to even out skins complexion, making it brighten skin tone to an even whiter skin.

So, what are you waiting for? Go to Marina Website and register to the Blog Contest, and win all the coolest prizes! :)
